“ Such a delight to have found Bendix! Although I am not a complete coffee snob, I do drink 6-8 shots of espresso daily and my wife enjoys a couple coffees also. Having grown tired of the overly burnt Starbucks espresso, but finding only flowery tasting roasts in the stores and 3 different online roasters - I chose Bendix for 3 initial reasons. First, the picture of the owners as a young unpretentious smiling couple gave me hope. Second, their unabashed tagline stating that "...the love of Jesus is stronger than caffeine" is not only humorous, but implies Biblical truths I can certainly stand by. Finally, their prices are very competitive. I have by now purchased 10 lbs of their whole beans, had them shipped to the Seattle area, and can say their customer service is also top-notch. How refreshing to be able to communicate with the owners. Having sampled medium to dark espresso roasts I can say that all have been very smooth. I hate to give away the secret, but their Papua New Guinea is the best roast ever! It gives you strong coffee or espresso shots, without any floral hint - but this amazing natural sweetness. No acid and nothing herbal - just one sweet cup after another! If you need another option their Ethiopian med/dark roast is a tad stronger. May the Lord bless this company. ”

I order coffee from places all over the Midwest, and I love the fact that Bendix doesn't charge rates like many other coffee roasters charge, but they still kick out just as good of a product! I was blessed with a free bag of a test-run coffee before it hit the shelves and was able to communicate with Alex about the coffee itself to help it get a little more dialed in. Alex delivers my order to my doorstep every time, and the kids have come to know him as "the coffee guy." Thank you for amazing service and some amazing beans! ”
